At Inner Clarity, we understand that certain tasks feel effortless for others but require immense effort from you - and that this disparity can lead to frustration, self-doubt, or heightened stress. You might feel like you’re always a step behind, forgetting details, or facing resistance in communication, and it’s impacting how you engage with the world.

The good news? Comprehensive testing can illuminate what’s happening, and open the door to effective strategies and meaningful support.

Support for All Ages

Children, Teens & Adults Welcome

Whether you're an adult wondering about long-standing challenges or a parent noticing attention or organizational struggles in your child or teen, our evaluations are tailored to your unique needs. If you're seeking accommodations, understanding, or day to day support, we can help.

ADHD Is More Common Than You Might Think - Especially in Adults

ADHD is often overlooked, especially in adults and girls, whose symptoms may not match traditional expectations. Many achieve academic success in childhood but struggle later in life with executive functioning, memory, and focus. Misunderstandings or missed diagnoses can lead to persistent self-criticism, stress, or confusion.

At Inner Clarity, our assessments are inclusive, culturally responsive, and grounded in current research. We take a neuro-affirming approach by looking at cognitive, emotional, social, and adaptive factors to understand the whole picture of your experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Isn’t everyone distracted sometimes?
down chevron icon

While occasional inattention is normal, ADHD reflects consistent differences in how the brain operates. An evaluation helps distinguish between typical attention struggles and neurological patterns that impact attention.

I think I already know I have ADHD, do I still need testing?

Self-awareness is powerful, but a formal assessment offers individualized data and targeted recommendations that go beyond what self-diagnosis can provide.

Does ADHD always require medication?
down chevron icon

Not always. Medication can help many individuals, and is generally safe when supervised. That said, we emphasize a strengths- and strategy-based approach including therapy, coaching, and environmental adaptations that paired with medication can significantly improve symptoms and struggles.

What if the diagnosis isn’t ADHD?

Our goal is clarity. If ADHD isn’t the explanation, your assessment may reveal other factors impacting your experience, whether related to mood, learning, executive functioning, or other neurodevelopmental struggles. With that understanding, we can guide you toward appropriate support.
